Right, I'll start and try to do this properly.

I don't really know how you define 'NSFW'. I usually talk about my love life, but in a painfully adolescent way, so I suppose it depends upon how puritan your boss is.

My name's Andy. I'm in my early twenties and I work for Cash4Gold inputting data and fun stuff like that. How I usually begin to introduce myself is to say that I'm training to teach English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU). I've already got an English degree, and I really enjoy picking apart the English language, so I'm loving the course. Also, I'm hardly a shrinking violet - sometimes painfully so - so I don't think that part of teaching will bother me all that much. I'm okay with computers, have a good vocabulary, have opinions on almost everything and I can whip up a decent stir-fry.

I'm single. I have been for over a year. Before that, I hadn't been long-term single since I was about 13 years old. Take from that what you will. I very much like girls, but I also quite like looking at guys, though I haven't had that defining 'university experience' to give myself a label. And since I'm not a big fan of labels, I've decided not to bother. My very Yorkshire family do not approve of this, nor of how amused I am with their reactions.

Politically, I'd like to think I'm very liberal. Being raised in hardcore coalmining country, I obviously and genetically cannot vote Conservative, but I don't think New Labour are all that hot, either. At the end of the day, so long as Nick Griffin dies in a fiery, painful way, I'm easy. I'm pro-choice, pro-gay, pro-black and pro-"do whatever you want so long as you do it nicely".

Speaking of brimstone, I'm a rather vocal atheist, although I rarely begin those conversations (and have, to date, never blogged about it). I'm a fan of Richard Dawkins not only because he wrote 'The God Delusion', but also because he was introduced to his wife by Douglas Adams, and said wife happens to be Romana II (Lalla Ward)! You can't argue with that CV, my friend.

I've given up coffee because it pushes my adolescent-geeky-angst towards a need for psychological diagnoses (see what I meant about my vocabulary? That's the plural of "diagnosis", people!). That said, I do drink, smoke the occasional cigar, and if you offer me a chance to do something I've never done, I'll probably (I'd like to think) give it a go.

Hobbies-wise, name something geeky and I've probably given it a go. At the moment, I'm a massive Doctor Who fan, I tabletop roleplay, I read science-fiction and fantasy novels (almost exclusively... that and rom coms. I'm a mystery wrapped in an enigma), and I know who dreams of electric sheep. Beyond that, I love musicals (I wanted to grow up to be Howard Keel. Imagine my disappointment!), Romantic Comedies, vampires, the works of Danny Wallace, creative writing whenever I'm in the mood to, playing on my Xbox, and probably loads of other stuff that I can't bring to mind right now.
